Open PDF files with Chrome, No more Adobe Reader and use EZpdf printer to print to a PDF file!!

How to set Chrome to open PDF files as your default

Why remove Adobe Reader from your computer. Adobe Reader is a free program to read PDF files, however it is has always been filled with critical security issues, it is slow opening files and tends to crash quite a bit. You can remove Adobe Reader from your computer and use Chrome Web Browser to open PDF files. Chrome opens the files much quicker then Adobe Reader. It will make your computer safer also by removing Adobe Reader from it.

To set Chrome to open PDF files automatically in Windows

Go to Control Panel and open Default Programs

Select Associate a file or protocol with a program

Scroll down to .PDF and double click it open and select Google Chrome and Save

Save As PDF function with Chrome

You want to save something to read or send in a email to someone from a web page. Instead of printing it out you can save it as a PDF file for veiwing or sending, without wasting paper.

Open Web page in Chrome

Go to PRINT and click the CHANGE button

Select a destination, choose SAVE AS PDF

Click SAVE and the place you want to store it on your computer

NOTE ****** All Office (Word, Excel, etc) and Open Office and Libre have option to Save As PDF any document ****

Print to a PDF file with EZpdf printer
